Bibbity Bobbins Business Cards

Bibbity Bobbins Imagination Studio provides a creative space for children and teens, bringing together arts and crafts, learning, imaginative activities, and childcare. The business card redesign reflects this playful approach through a sleek, minimal aesthetic featuring soft gradients, gold accents, and four-point stars. Two additional concepts were also explored before refining the final direction.

The business card redesign for Bibbity Bobbins Imagination Studio balances a sleek, contemporary aesthetic with the creativity and imagination at the heart of the business. As a studio encompassing arts and crafts, learning, childcare, and creative activities for children and teens, the identity needed to feel playful and imaginative without appearing overly juvenile.

The final direction uses soft organic forms and atmospheric gradients to create a whimsical, dreamlike quality, contrasted with structured typography and a minimal layout to maintain a polished and professional presence. Gold accents introduce warmth and a subtle sense of magic, while recurring four-point stars, one of the business owner’s favourite symbols, were incorporated as a personal detail and recognizable visual motif throughout the identity.

The expressive typography and oversized letterforms further emphasize creativity, while the deep blue, soft neutrals, gradient tones, and touches of gold create a visual language that appeals to both the young people participating in the studio’s activities and the parents seeking its services. The result is an identity that feels imaginative and youthful while remaining sophisticated, versatile, and trustworthy.

As part of the design process, two additional concept directions were developed and presented, each exploring a different interpretation of the studio’s personality through variations in typography, colour, composition, and visual language. Providing multiple concepts allowed the client to compare distinct creative approaches and helped determine which elements best represented their vision before refining the selected direction into the final design.
